Poncho Perfection

You guessed it, another spotlight on one of the winter’s hottest trend.

In the Vogue Paris trend report for fall/winter 2014-2015, in addition to coats, were warm ponchos. My poncho is particularly useful now when the weather is variable.

If you didn’t already know ponchos and capes are winter staples. It’s now all about that personal touch. Splash your wrap with your initials or add a fringe to the bottom, showing the world your singular style. I know most can't purchase the must-have Burberry poncho this season, but fast fashion retailers have their own poncho version from Forever 21, Zara, to H&M; you can find your winter staple and accessorize as you wish.

Try to opt for a poncho with added length; it creates a more sophisticated and stylish look. Bonus point if you find a poncho with a great neckline. I am adoring  the v-neck look for a more boho-casual feel, but if you want to be kept warm then consider a polo neck poncho.

The poncho look is anything but new, but this winter, it looks great. It looks chic and very modern. These versatile cloaks can be worn over any clothing combination and will look ultra modern. They care something of a French style – chic in this nonchalant style.
